When dealing with illness during COVID-19, self-care is one of the best ways to safeguard our precious healthcare service. However, is important to heed symptoms that need urgent attention, and seek timely interventions where possible.
Self-care involves knowing what we can do for ourselves, when we should seek advice, and where to go to be able to access the appropriate services.
Key symptoms to be aware of in regards to COVID-19 include a new cough, fever, unexplained headaches and body fatigue (see Covid.gi for more). If you experience any of these symptoms call 111 for advice; or try the government self-test to ascertain whether your symptoms are of concern (Covid self-test).
